Hi! I'm Lisa

My life is completely different to 9 years ago because I bet on myself.

I went from $45K in debt to $30 million in revenue.

I lived through backlash, criticism and online noise so I show up as if I’ve already been cancelled.

I built a life that looked incredible online and felt exhausting behind the scenes.

So I stopped performing success and started experiencing it.

I’m here to Build What Matters, anchored in truth, impact and happiness.

I want to redefine what business owners chasing success measure, prioritise and pursue.

LET ME TELL YOU MORE...

I had to lose myself, to rebuild myself and realise that happiness isn’t something you earn, it’s something you protect at all costs.

And none of it would have been possible without a personal brand that enabled me to Build What Matters.

The Start...

$30 million revenue. $3 million launches. The freedom to travel the world with my family. Life hasn’t always looked like this. But one thing that has never changed, and never will is my resilience, or my determination. I never quit, I always believe in myself and I will never sacrifice my happiness. And that, more than anything, is why I’m here.

It’s how I overcame bullies at school to become a Bullies Out ambassador now and why when my twins arrived back in 2011, I knew I had to stop and reassess. 5 months after they were born I was back at work, doing relentless hours and I knew if I didn’t act either my relationship with the boys, my health, my sanity, or my career would suffer.

That’s where my business journey began. I launched a wedding planning company, and almost instantly realised I knew nothing about how to run a business. The competition was fierce and I made so many mistakes. But like everything, I never quit. I backed myself. And I took action.

WHAT CHANGED?

Lisa Johnson building her personal brand and consulting business

I knew that I had to understand the way businesses work and what makes some succeed and others fail. So I studied, learned and put the strategy into action. 5 months later the business had gone from no clients to fully booked with perfect clients. And we’d put the prices up to deliver a more premium service too.

How did I make it happen? I nailed the strategy. I stopped winging it, and started making decisive, strategic and aligned moves. And I got the industry’s attention. Heads turned and the eyes were on me. My colleagues and peers started to ask how I’d made it happen. They wanted the inside story. The cheat codes. The blueprint. So I helped. For free. And it worked. Their businesses improved and I realised that I could see something they couldn’t.

I realised that I could help businesses make money without complexity and jargon. But it was time to stop doing it for free.

THE BUILD OF THE PERSONAL BRAND

The success was great, but it brought its own challenges. Backlash. Criticism. You name it, I lived through enough online noise for a lifetime. On many occasions the online space seemed no different to the public school where I was bullied.

But I knew that I was the reason people wanted to work with me. People want to buy from the person behind the brand so I knew I needed a personal brand that set me apart. And I believe, more than anything, that we are all at our strongest when we stop being scared of who we really are. So I forgot about algorithms. Or industry expectations. And I built an unshakeable loyalty to myself. I stopped panicking about being cancelled and created a personal brand that enables me to stand in my truth and lead by example every day.

The moment I started going after what I truly wanted, my impact became clearer, my income became cleaner and my entire business started to work for me.

The Rapid Scaling

I backed myself once again, taking everything I’d learned and achieved to launch my consulting business. Just 6 months later it hit 6 figures and every programme I launched was sold out. The strategy was working, but I was still working long hours and I didn’t have the freedom I truly wanted.

I knew that I had to find ways to make the business more efficient, so I could work less hours, and spend more time doing what I really loved, travelling with my twin boys. So I invested in me. Why? Because I know that I am the most important asset in my business. And I believed that I could turn whatever I spent into the success and the life I wanted. I spend over £150k in one year on coaching and courses with some of the best people on the planet.

I learned, grew and refined what worked, developing passive income streams like courses and memberships. Now, years later I earn the majority of my revenue from these income streams, enabling me to have the freedom and flexibility to work with clients on a 1:1 basis when it suits me, my lifestyle and my family.

freedom first, always

I do what most people in the industry are scared to do.

I TELL THE TRUTH, EVEN WHEN IT COSTS ME.

I no longer want the life I spent years building…

take-what-you-need

I always made sure my personal brand enabled me to be open about my journey. My success. My mistakes. My rise. The messy BTS. And the truth is, that yes, I’ve made multi-millions in revenue, but chasing ‘more’ doesn’t make me happy. I’ve done it, I’ve lived it, and I’ve outgrown it. No matter what the industry tells you, stepping back and admitting that you want something different isn’t failure. Stepping back actually moves you forward into the life you want. Into happiness.

I learned what matters the hard way. I had built a business and scaled it. I went all in and could have kept growing. But I chose happiness over ego, impact over image, and a life I truly love instead. I stopped pretending that scaling automatically means satisfaction. I stopped performing the industry standard of success, and focused on rebuilding the life that I actually wanted.

I made happiness my ultimate non-negotiable. And I am proof that people don’t want a CEO who performs, they want a human they can trust. They want a thought leader who says the real thing, even when it’s uncomfortable and someone who shows that money matters, but meaning sustains it. I am proof that success without sacrifice is possible. Believe it.

Making an impact

Impact used to be about numbers, or follows, and it still is for many people in this industry. But not for me. I live the life I want, full of the happiness I want, because impact is about more than cash. It’s about achieving the success you want without performing so that others can see that’s possible too.

I measure it in how people’s lives change. How much lighter and freer they feel. How they work the hours they want instead of hustling like the internet tells them to. How they finally tell the truth about the life they want and feel brave enough to live it. How much they believe in themselves, and back themselves and their personal brand.

I don’t want to help more people make more money for the sake of it. I want to help them build happiness and make money for a purpose. To be brave enough to lead with honesty, clarity and alignment. I want to show people a different way of succeeding. I want to change sectors, and industries, for good.

THE NOT SO NEW MISSION...

Hey I’m Lisa, Global Personal Brand Strategist, keynote speaker, Sunday Times bestselling author, mentor and mum of twins. I’ve always been determined to create an impact, working with thousands and thousands of entrepreneurs and Corporate clients around the world and now I’m here to revolutionise what personal brand really looks like. Things are changing, fast. We’re living through a trust recession right now, and whether you’re a solo entrepreneur, or the CEO of a huge corporate brand, only the leaders who prioritise their personal brands will build true success.

To do that, you have to stop being scared of who you really are and believe in yourself, no matter what. You have to forget the algorithm, or the industry or expectations and build unshakeable loyalty to yourself. I’ve lived through backlash, criticism and enough noise to know that ultimately it is about you. And when you bet on yourself, anything can happen. My life is completely different to 8 years ago for that exact reason. I’ve achieved more than I ever thought possible and that goes beyond numbers.
